The campaign, “Wake Up to Real Creativity: The AI Uprising”, aims to rally the entertainment industry against the overuse of AI. We will employ an online strategy, utilising platforms often used by the industry for a series of virtual events like webinars, online gigs, memes, and viral challenges to raise awareness about the dilution of human creativity due to AI.

Campaign Description

The campaign focuses on bringing a cultural shift by highlighting the importance of human creativity over AI-generated content in the entertainment industry. It will consist of a series of virtual events, webinars featuring influential industry insiders, online concerts with artists supporting the cause, viral social media challenges and a dedicated meme campaign, with all content centered around the theme “Wake Up to Real Creativity”. The campaign, while highlighting the negative impact of AI on creativity, will also encourage the industry to use AI responsibly and in a way that enhances human creativity instead of replacing it.

Theory for Why This Campaign Will Create Change

Historically, campaigns that target specific industries, particularly those that rely heavily on creativity and originality, have been successful in influencing change. The Writers Guild of America strikes in 2007 and 1988 altered industry practices and improved conditions. These instances demonstrate the power of industry-focused protests, given the right leverage and strategy. Our campaign’s strength lies in the fact that it is not against AI, but against its irresponsible use. We aim to create an environment where AI supplements human creativity rather than replace it.
